About me
Fred Camin has been in the music business for over 20 years. He grew up in Metro New York, and was involved in school music programs from the age of 7. While in college studying Jazz Performance, he had the chance to perform all over Europe, including performing his own arrangements at the Jazz à Juan festival in Juan les Pins, Antibes. Fred spent some time running one of the last music stores on the famed "Music Row" of 48th street in NYC - working with jazz musicians, broadway musicians, ballet musicians, and some of the great artists at the NY Philharmonic. He also began my teaching studio at this time, and taught students of all ages.At Sweetwater, Fred is a member of the Education team, working with schools every day to make sure they have everything a music program needs to succeed. He is also an active clinician, speaking at MEA conferences and schools all over the US.
