About me
Lauren Vujosevic (she/her) is Assistant Professor of Teaching in Music Education at Towson University, where she teaches courses across the music education curriculum. Her expertise is in vocal/general elementary music. She earned her B.M.E. from Rutgers University and taught PK-8 vocal/general music in New York City before completing an M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she taught undergraduate courses in popular music and music technology. She recently earned her Ph.D. in Music Education from the University of Maryland. Her research focuses on music teacher education, navigating classroom controversy, and school-university partnerships.
